Extended Beginner Trip
October 11 - 15 - five days in the remote wilderness of the Adirondack Park
A great opportunity to experience the remote wilderness, have time for reflection and prayer, and to get a longer break from the hectic pace of modern life.
October 11 - 15, 2022
Day 1 - Meet at trailhead of Upper Works Parking Lot at Adirondack State Park. Hike to base camp, approximately 6 miles.
Day 2 - 4 - Day hikes to Lake Colden, Avalanche Lake, Marcy Dam, and Hanging Spears Falls as well as other places in the area.
Day 5 - Hike back to the parking lot.
All trips include one individual Spiritual Discernment session before the trip and up to two sessions after the trip. These are one-on-one sessions. In addition, one group planning session before the trip.
Group Size - 4-7 (does not include leader)
Cost - $800 (Does not include transportation to the trailhead or any gear rental)
